Police Find Drugs in Bobbi Kristina Brown's Home

New details have emerged on Bobbi Kristina Brown's near-drowning leaving her unresponsive: her family has confirmed that police have found drugs in her home. Police conducted a second, more thorough search of her home after their initial search was only for things "out in the open".
Bobbi Kristina, 21, remains in a medically induced coma after being found facedown in the bathtub late Saturday morning (Jan. 31, 2015) by her husband Nick Gordon and a friend (who reportedly has a history of arrest for drug possession).

Although cops have not yet confirmed whether or not they found drugs, family sources confirmed to TMZ that cops indeed found drugs during their second search in the home.
Law enforcement sources revealed to TMZ "they believed from the beginning Bobbi Kristina ended up face down in a bathtub as a result of drugs."
Police records also reveal that the friend who was with Bobbi Kristina when she was found unconscious is 24-year-old Maxwell Lomas, who has a history of arrests in connection to drugs and firearms since 2011.
Most recently, Lomas was arrested last month on Jan. 14, 2015. He was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of Alprazolam (Xanax), and possession of a firearm or knife during commission of or attempt to commit certain felonies. According to Fulton Country Jail records, he was later released on $15,000 bond.
As Bobbi Kristina continues "fighting for her life" while her family holds vigil, the new details of narcotics found in her home could open new doors for determining why she became unresponsive in the bathtub.
Submerged underwater, she was deprived of oxygen for anywhere from 2 to 5 minutes. Though the oxygen levels in her brain have increased significantly (four times better than Sunday), doctors fear neurological damage. It's still touch and go, but she is doing significantly better and reportedly was able to "move her eyes".
She remains in a medically induced coma and is still breathing with the help of a ventilator.
A family source told People, "The swelling [in her brain] has gone down. The doctor says that that by itself isn't the smoking gun that she's getting better, but it's still a good sign. But she's still not reacting."
Her family has been taking turns to visit her, entering her private hospital room in groups of 2 or 3 and telling stories of happy times. "If she's in there somewhere, we want her to hear us," the source said. "We keep it positive. We tell her that God loves her, that we love her. That America is praying for her and that everyone loves her."
On her father Bobby Brown, a family source says that "He's so upset. He can hardly put one foot in front of the other."
Keeping Bobbi Kristina Brown in our thoughts and prayers.
