What Will Prince William and Kate Middleton Name Royal Baby No. 2?

The countdown is on for the birth of Prince William and Kate Middleton‘s second child!
As Middleton’s due date approaches, we’re breaking down what the name of the second royal baby might be! Get the details below.
Middleton is expected to give birth by the end of April, which means we’re just a couple of days away from the baby’s arrival.
Prince William and Middleton welcomed their first child, Prince George, in July 2013. Now, insiders are debating whether Middleton will give birth to a boy or a girl, and what his or her name will be!
CNN Royal Commentator Victoria Arbiter talked to E! News about the second royal baby, and explained why she doesn’t think the baby will be named Diana (after Prince William’s late mother Princess Diana) if the couple welcomes a girl.
“William wouldn’t [name his child Diana] for several reasons,” Arbiter revealed. “First, he honors his mother in a number of very private ways that are personal to him but not grandstanding. Second of all, out of respect to the royal family, all the media attention that it would bring. And third, the name Diana has both positive and negative connotations for different people for different reasons. To put that on a baby’s shoulders and have to grow up with that mantle he just wouldn’t do it.”
Does the baby have to be named after a royal? According to Arbiter, no. The list of possibilities just became endless!
What if the couple welcomes a second baby boy? Arbiter revealed, “If I were a betting person, I think Arthur is probably near the top in terms of boys names. I know it seems quite old fashioned but it has had a resurgence in England. You’ve really seen the old fashioned names come back. There is a sense that he could go to school and not be teased while at the same time have a traditional name.”
What do you think the couple will name their child?
