Samsung AFCON 2013 Anthem – Our Passion Powers Africa (Produced By Don Jazzy)

It’s officially here people! The long awaiting, AFCON theme song produced by our very own, Don Jazzy is out. Just in time to get in the African Cup Of Nations spirit.

Samsung, an official sponsor of the Orange Africa Cup of Nations, SOUTH AFRICA 2013, has launched its signature song called ‘Samsung Football Anthem’ for the tournament. Under the theme: ‘Our passion powers Africa’, the company aims to bring the spirit of the game to its consumers. The anthem encourages Africans to stand tall, support their favourite teams, and get involved in the games.

The song was produced by Michael Collins Ajereh, better known as Don Jazzy, Nigerian Multi award-winning record producer, singer-songwriter, musician and CEO of Mavin Records. The song will be played at all Samsung Fan Zones and Samsung sponsored Orange AFCON,SOUTH AFRICA 2013 events. People can download the anthem from Samsung Facebook pages in Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, and South Africa.

Another way to enjoy the Samsung Football Anthem is to participate at ‘Sing Don Jazzy Anthem and Win’ competition in Samsung Facebook pages in Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria and South Africa. This is a chance for fans to be a part of the African football experience and reveal their passion by uploading their own video of singing the Samsung Football Anthem.
