a mechanical shark, cast newcomers
Tina Fey and
Amy Poehler are seen beating
Sacha Baron Cohen to a pulp while filming the sequel to the 2004 comedy.
Clad in a tweed skirt suits, the
Saturday Night Live alums wrestle
The Dictator actor to the ground before bashing him with several blunt objects.
The movie, which is slated to hit theaters
this December, will see the return of the original cast -- Ferrell,
Paul Rudd,
Steve Carell,
Christina Applegate and
David Koechner -- and also fresh faces such as
Harrison Ford and
Nicole Kidman.
“What I’ve been told is that the movie will be set around the advent
of the 24 hour news channel,” Koechner, who will reprise his role of
Champ Kind, told
Celebuzz of the
sequel's premise.
With a fight sequence
like this, there's no doubt the legend of Ron Burgundy still lives on.
However, the whereabouts of
Brick's hand grenade are still unknown.
