Wizkid, Davido and Burna Boy top Billboard charts this week

Wizkid and Davido have made Nigerians super proud as both artistes have their songs at the top of Billboard’s World Music Sales Charts this week.

Wizkid’s hit song with Beyonce ‘Brown Skin Girl’ from the ‘Lion King: The Gift’ album is number one for the second week in a row, while Davido’s song ‘Blow my mind’ featuring Chris Brown peaked at number three on the chart this week.

Burna Boy the self-acclaimed African giant is also on the top 10 Billboard World Albums list.

His newest album ‘African Giant’ peaked at number 6 this week after moving from 13th position last week.

The ‘Lion King: The Gift’ album which features both Wizkid and Burna Boy is also on that same chart at Number 5.

It is a great time for African music especially Nigerian music and we can only hope that our super stars will go higher from here.
