Chess Master Tunde Onakoya Pledges 1M Naira to Roadside Food Vendor

After selling out 30 custom chessboards for 30 million naira in two hours, Nigerian chess master Tunde Onakoya committed one million naira to upgrade a food vendor's stall, inspired by his own mother's similar sacrifices to fund his education.

The vendor's daughter, Kofoworola, shared the plea instead of promoting her own cake business, prompting Onakoya to reach out directly. Community members quickly joined in, offering kitchen equipment like gas cookers and freezers, turning one post into widespread support for the family.
