Britney Spears fans not impressed with Britney night on 'DWTS'

 

It was Britney Spears night on Monday’s Dancing with the Stars, where the show paid tribute to the pop star with some of the outfits worn by host Tyra Banks and the contestants, and by using plenty of classic Spears songs for the dances.

Some viewers at home were loving the night’s theme and took to Twitter with their satisfaction. 

But many were just too distracted by the music, given that all of the songs were performed by the house band. This is because playing the actual songs would presumably cost too much money for clearance rights. So viewers wondered things like, “How did DWTS plan an entire Britney Spears night and not secure a single song?”

While it's definitely been a big year for Spears and her fans, after the #FreeBritney movement resulted in the end of her father’s conservatorship, it doesn’t seem like another Britney Spears-themed night on Dancing with the Stars is something fans will be saying, “gimme gimme more,” to anytime soon.
